Does your alarm have a trouble condition? Is your keypad beeping every 15-30 seconds and you don't know why? First, rest assured you can silence this beeping by simply pressing the # symbol located on the lower right hand side of your keypad (where you arm/disarm the alarm at). Was your alarm installed more than 5 years ago? Chances are you are in need of some repairs. Back-up system batteries should be replaced every 3-5 years to ensure full back-up protection. Motion detectors should be replaced every 5 years and smoke detectors should be replaced at least every 10 years.
